Delete Your Account

Applies to Book Spotter on iOS, Android, and the web portal.

You can permanently delete your Book Spotter account and every piece of data associated with it at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

• Your account and email address
• Your synced book list, including its revision history
• Every library you own, including its books, shares, and lending records
• Your access to libraries other people shared with you
• Any promotional or granted access on the account

Books stored only on a device (without an account) are yours locally — deleting the app removes them. Camera images are never stored by us in the first place, so there is nothing to delete.

Option 1 — from the web portal

1. Sign in at bookspotter.app/app.html with your account email and password.
2. Click Delete account in the top navigation.
3. Type your account email to confirm. Your account and data are removed immediately.

Option 2 — from the app

Open Account in the app and choose Delete account, then confirm with your account email.

Need help?

If you can't sign in (for example, you've forgotten your password), email support@bookspotter.app from your account's email address and ask us to delete the account. We'll confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
